Re: CW Military Collection

"Smiths" zu tun hat...Christopher Ward hat geschrieben:Not only a watch bearing the insignia of the British Army, the C65 Sandhurst doubles as a tribute to the history of British watchmaking - namely, to Smiths, one of the last volume watchmakers, and a constant inspiration to our aviation range.
Taking influence from the Smiths W10, a watch designed for speed of use during operations, the C65 Sandhurst subscribes to the same field watch school of design and legibility.

Timefactors alias Eddie Platts hat geschrieben:The "Smiths" watches produced by Time Factors are not in any way connected with the "Smiths" watches produced by Smiths Group plc until 1979.

C65 Cranwell Series 1
$910 - $1,020
Officially licensed by the UK Ministry of Defence to bear the Royal Air Force’s Heraldic badge, the C65 Cranwell shares elements with two famous ‘6B/346’ watches. Initially created by Jaeger-LeCoultre and IWC to help assist with greater accuracy during RAF operations, this ever-constant need for precision is reflected by the chronometer-certified automatic movement present inside the C65 Cranwell.
