Was die Preise angeht, so habe ich irgendwas von 649 Euro gelesen, finde es aber gerade nicht.....

The Pound is at the lowest rate it has been against the dollar in 31 years. KEY FEATURES:

High-Arched Sapphire Crystal (with anti-reflective coating): working in tandem with our sunburst dials, the show-stopping high-arched sapphire refracts light beautifully. The crystal, at its apex, stands 2.80mm above the case, curving smoothly across its surface.

Dials: deep and subtle, yet striking, our sunburst dials come in Deep Blue, Ice Silver, Space Black and Slate Grey. In sympathy with the domed crystal, the dial itself is also slightly convex. Gently curved hands maintain a parallel with the convex dial, which looks particularly elegant with the extra-long, smooth-sweeping, seconds hand.

Movement: in-keeping with the gently modernised 1950s aesthetic, a hand-wound Sellita SW215-1 movement, with a bespoke colour-matched date wheel, sits at the heart of the Veli. A fine Swiss movement, the SW215-1 is close to the ETA 2804-2 in design, save that the Sellita movement has two extra jewels.

Hands: the VAPAUS Veli watch is offered with a choice of either classic alpha hands (Veli 1950), or the more unusual paddle hands (Veli 2050). The divisive Veli 2050 hands have created a loyal following among watch aficionados who enjoy the juxtaposition between a classic and modern aesthetic; while the Veli 1950 hands resonate clearly with the legacy of the timepiece.

It's the final countdown, with just 3 hours left on our KickStarter campaign. It has been a wonderful journey over the past 33 days. We have built an amazing community of backers, and made some new friends along the way.

As a final thank you to you all, we are delighted to announce that, following negotiations with Sellita, we are upgrading the movement in every single VAPAUS Veli to the Special (Elaboré) Regulation. This regulation is Sellita's premium and most accurate caliber (achieving a remarkable +/- 7 seconds per day), and is an impressive final upgrade to the specification for the VAPAUS Veli. We consider this a statement of intent for the high standards that all VAPAUS watches will reach; in-keeping with the uncompromising approach taken throughout the development of the Veli.

Bin gespannt und freue mich mal vor:

The VAPAUS Veli Launch Edition was made in a limited run of 260 pieces. These have all sold out. In 2018 we will launch the second edition of the Veli watch, named Veli 1960; an evolution of the Veli that we have been quietly working on. We will also create the first edition of our VORCUT chronograph. Further, we will also restock Veli 1950 and Veli 2050.
